Exchange 2007 URLs in two sites
DearS
Need your help in configuring exchange 2007 URLs.
I installed exchange 2007 in two sites (Site A & Site B) as below:
Site A:
- Two mailbox servers configured on CCR cluster.
- Two CAS servers behind the F5 hardware load balancer. Certificate configured on F5 is SAN *.domain.com and offloaded
- Two HUB Servers.
Site B:
- Two mailbox servers configured on CCR cluster.
- Two HUB & CAS servers, only CAS servers are load balanced behind the F5 hardware load balancer.
The DNS configuration for autodiscover is:
Public DNS entry for autodiscover.domain.com public IP is NAT to local F5 load balancer virtual IP
Local DNS entry for autodiscover.domain.com is pointing to F5 load balancer virtual IP
F5 configuration:
Communication from public clients to F5 https
Communication from F5 to CAS http
Communication from local Clients to F5 https
Internet setup:
Site A is the internet facing CAS servers
Site B non internet facing CAS servers.
Please suggest the external and internal URLs since it is already configured as below:

Dear Mahmoud,
Just do the following:
1- External URLs are required for sites that are accessible from outside, if one site is accessible by internal URL proxying and not directly from outside don't put External URL for it "leave it blank"
2- Keep external URLs always https, no http.
3- If you are using load balancer with SSL offloading always make internal urls https
4- Allow both ssl and http on all virtual directories "dont tick require ssl"
I think this will make you figure out the exact URLs, just try it and if you need any further help please post again in the forums as a comment.
