A New feature in Windows Vista is Reliability monitor, Reliability monitor monitors the system for any instability that can occur from a failed DLL, or an error results from any application that is running at a given time.
System stability chart, which is a part of Reliability monitor, presents an overview of system stability for a given time you have worked on wihile using this computer. it could be an application failure that caused the system to crash and restart. so the system stability chart gives you an idea about where is the unreliable part of the system.
