Daily Systematic approach to secure your Network

Network administrators can benefit from a systematic approach to secure there network daily, let us demonstrate this approach:

1- verify the current connections: I emphasize on trying to catch any suspected behavior while its occurring, which i think its a more proactive approach rather than reactive, because you can find where the attack is targeted and avoid any damages before it happen.

2- Look at network Traffic: look at the statistics? how much packets was sent while you are not there watching.

Firewall & Security Policy Checklist

Its important to evaluate your security measures once in a while, try to regularly check your corporate security policies after a major change or before adding a security product to your infrastructure. move on these steps:

Spyware!!! Anyway to Kill it ??

Spyware remains a continuing hassle and a potentially serious intrusion on your privacy.
In the beginning, antivirus software fought viruses and worms, and antispyware software fought spyware and adware. That clean distinction has largely disappeared. The decline of the macro virus and the e-mail worm sent antivirus companies looking for something else to fight, and the complexity of spyware makes it a formidable foe.
